BIO

Anna Faragona (b. 1986) is a photographer based in Rome.

In 2008 she graduated in Philosophy Aesthetics in Bologna. She attended ISFCI in Rome. Participates in several photography workshops, including 3/3, Lina Pallotta, Lorenzo Castore, Morten Andersen, Nino Migliori and Piergiorgio Branzi.

2010-2014 she was a member of the association CameraOscura and she organized some workshops of print.

She has worked with the association Obiettivo Granieri within the project “Granieri: a country photographing himself.” In this project she worked in workshop with Michael Ackerman and Lorenzo Castore .

She has worked as assistant for Contrasto photographer Fabio Lovino.

From 2014 she’s the DOP of several music videos.

In 2015 she founded the association LUCE with others photographer, printers and photo-editors.

Currently she is a freelance and works both as a photographer and as a photo-retoucher.

Her personal research focuses on the Human, especially on the Female Universe.

She’s represented by LUZ.
